Sleepover

Before the cousins had to return to Colorado, we had a sleepover at Nana's house. We had Pizza and then popped popcorn and watched a movie.

When the movie ends and the credits roll , the dancing begins!

Everyones awake and its time for breakfast.


Sliding down the stairs in a sleeping bag was a big hit!


We had to get in a few rounds of Old Maid.

And the whole crew worked together to build a mighty fine fort!

The bags are packed and loaded in the car, its time to head for the airport to pick up Mom and Uncle Lane, then a long ride home to Colorado.




This is supposed to be a new post, but I loaded all the pictures at once, its late, and I am not going to change it. So the title of this post is Carwash .
We had a good time washing and squirting the car. The squirting got a little out of hand and we all got wet but we had fun and the car looked shiny clean when we finished.

Well, it's been almost a week and a half and I have a few pictures of the places I have visited. But I can't figure out how to get them off the phone. As a result, I'm going to have to wait until I get home and figure it out. I'm technically challenged when it comes to media stuff from my phone. Perhaps an iPhone would have been easier.

Anyway, I'm doing well and am glad I only have 2 days left before I can jump on a plan and start on my way home.

I'm currently in Jakarta, Indonesia. I start home on Wednesday evening, my time and go through Incheon, Korea and then through LA to SLC. Can't wait.

Friday Fun

After breakfast and a morning of puzzles, games, jumping on the tramp, and making homes for several roller bugs and one ladybug, we sent the soon to be graduate to Aunt Julies while we prepared the festivities. The party assistant helps prepare the special graduation treats.

Ladies and gentlemen, we would like to present Miss..........

The diploma has been presented to the graduate.

The audience participates in a rousing gummy bear walk game. No, its not a cake walk, its a gummy bear walk. Mama Mia was the music selection and by the end of the game all participants were prancing and dancing and chewing on gummy bears. This game was a hit!

We toasted the graduate and in the excitement of the cheer, one of the well wishers drenched herself in black cherry soda. Cheers!

After a few more outside games, gramama and grampapa came with special gifts for the graduate.

Puzzling with gramama. We ended the day by attending cousins birthday party. I forgot to take the camera but we all had a great time! Heres to another fun day at nanas house! Eat your heart out Arrowwood Elementary School, we would like to see you top that kindergarten graduation ceremony.

Thursday Fun

After breakfast we watered the garden.

She did the 100 piece puzzle all by herself! (Dont worry about the wrist bandage Mom, just one of those minor comfort things for a sore wrist.)


Packed up lunch and went to the park.




Made a trip for a birthday present, a quick dash into Cosco, then home to cool off in the sprinklers.

After dinner had a good time with the kids next door. Had ice cream sandwiches for a bedtime snack, a quick dip in the tub, Wheres Waldo and a crazy princess story from Nana, then off to bed. Another fun day was had by all.

Wednesday Fun

Wednesday morning everyone woke up happy. We ate, made m&m cookies for the grandparents lunch , got everyone ready to go, and the kids stayed with Aunt Julie while Nana went to school . In the rush of the morning, I forgot the camera so no pictures of us having our special picnic toast with black cherry soda as we ate our lunch under a tree.

Time for the nightly ritual. He is getting real good at finding Waldo, but then what do you expect when you are looking for him several times a day.
The girls promised to go right to bed if they could watch the last half hour of American Idol. We were outside for the rest of the show so only saw the last part, which frankly was quite enough for me. Morganne was sad that Adam Lambert didnt win. Oh well, one last jump on the tramp then into bed as promised. They both crashed! No getting up for drinks, no owies, no itches, no Nana Im too hot and cant go to sleep, just z-z-z-z-z.......

Tuesday Fun

Started the morning with strawberry waffles and just a little whooped cream.

Farm country at Thanksgiving Point. Saw the animals, rode the horses, and went on a horse drawn wagon ride.








After the farm, we went to Barry's and took the food to the park for a picnic. Then home and a little run through the sprinklers.
