Cooking, eating, sewing and storytelling

We tried a new recipe, Elephant Ears. Waiting for them to cool before we could taste them was the hardest part.
For lunch we made silly sandwiches. Yummy and cute!

The sewing project(the girls always like to sew) was to make backpacks.

They are getting pretty good at sewing those straight seams all by themselves. Morganne made her pack and Ty's pack. Eliza sewed her own backpack. They turned out great ! Don't you think they're cute?
Each night before bedtime we tell sack stories. Each person gathers two random items from around the house and secretly puts them in the sack. We sit in a circle on the floor and the first person takes something from the sack and including the item into the story, he begins the story...and then...the next person takes their turn...and then...the story gets sillier and sillier and we laugh and laugh. Goodnight Ty, goodnight Eliza, goodnight Morganne. Sweet dreams. Cute kids. Good times!
